2026 Vision Board
Over a week into 2026 and I have decided to try a vision board again. A few years ago I had made a digital one but didn’t do much with it. I really wasn’t sure how I was supposed to use it after creating it.
I did a little bit of research and after creating a board you can print it (if you’ve made a digital one) and look at it each day or week and really start envisioning your board as reality.
I am sharing my board for this year and using my examples will show you how to not only configure your own board but also how to use it all year long!
Originally I just grabbed a notebook and started writing down some goals. I kept it small, we could probably all spend a good 10 minutes and fill an entire page of goals, I am trying to be more realistic about my goals, this way we don’t get overwhelmed by them later down the line as well.
Physical Health
Mental Health/Personal Growth
Relationships
Finances
Hobby/Fun
Live like the 90’s
Next we get specific about our goals, what does each goal look like specifically
Move my body intentionally
Becoming better at “letting go” and meditating more
Intention with family and friends/ strengthening marriage
Buying a new car/baby expenses
Hone into my crochet craft
Have a simpler screen free lifestyle
Now we assign how each goal feels once achieved
I’ll be more energized and feel stronger
Calm
Like a better friend/wife/daughter/sister
Freedom
Confident
Peaceful and nostalgic
We can finally dive into making our board now, find magazine clippings or print out real-life photos to add, quotes, words and affirmations. You can also create a digital board and print it out later.
Assemble in whatever way feels right. Arrange everything into sections and categories if you like. If you like a pre-made digital layout you can go that route as well.
It may also be fun to get a group of friends together to do these with, life’s always better with friends after all :)
Print it out and place your board where you will see it every day. This next step was helpful for me in understanding how to use it: Look at your board and picture your goals, in your mind, as though they have already happened.
Here are some ways I plan to talk about and envision each of my goals this year:
“I feel stronger and more confidant in my body.”
“I can hit life’s obstacles with grace, I can sit in my discomfort.”
“I have a close circle of friends that I trust, pray with and have fun together. My marriage is even stronger. I set aside intentional time for my family.”
“We have 3 months of expenses set aside into savings, this allows for any uncertainty to cover us if the need arises. We bought a second car, I can run errands and be prepared for taking our baby to doctor appointments etc.”
“My life moves slower now that I have simplified life. Cutting social media, going into the grocery store, and taking my time has allowed me to appreciate what I have, be more creative, lean into real-life relationships and has calmed me down in so many ways.”
There you have it! A fun way to organize and envision a life with met goals. I am excited to see how much life is different by the end of 2026. I am hopeful to reflect on this year before heading into 2027 and have most if not all of these goals and dreams achieved, and I hope the same for you!
